Hi everyone!

It's that time of year again when we all decide that we should make some kind of resolution in our life. I don't tend to make them because I suck ass at keeping them, so I guess I should set myself some rules to live by for 2013.

1) Drink more water. Yes it's the same old, but I can't do diets. I love food far too much.
2) Use that bloody gym membership.
3) Invest in better quality make up and only purchase necessary items for the wardrobe. It is seriously overflowing.
4) Wear hats more often. I have a nice little collection developing and wish for them to see the light of day on a regular basis.
5) Blog weekly. Unfortunately I don't get much down time but I want to try and use this year to blog more frequently and to finally do something with all the printing equipment I have.

So here is my post for this week. Right now I feel like absolute death which meant I really wasn't looking my best. I thought I would show you some of my outfits from the festive period.

Much like a lot of people, every now and then I get really inspired by certain little things; anything from clothing to art, music and other people. Today, I have been inspired by other bloggers and instagram users.  As of now I am going to follow in their footsteps. This does, however, mean that I am once again going to be posting incessant crap in the hope to find something that you all will like.

P.S. Leonard has destroyed my keyboard, so writing this is a little difficult.

SHOPPING!!! Hmmm, so, today happened to be my first pay day from my real job and I may have gone a little mad. A shopping trip to Birmingham took place... oops. I feel like I spend half my life on the frickin motorway but ah well it was worth it!!!!

This was today's outfit... I did wear my hat out too, but I can't get a decent picture with it. I love my studded black bag, cheeky bargain from Select, £15! The boots are manky old topshop ones, they have seen better days. BUT the trip into Birmingham was for one reason only....

MY FIRST PAIR OF LITAS!!!! Bit late on the band wagon I know, but I am pretty sure I'm gonna end up buying one a month. They are so comfy!!!! I got a few other bits too, but I think I'll include them in an outfit post later in the week. Now to scoff a fat curry for tea to celebrate Ma's new job!

The Lorax Film Première

The Lorax film première was absolutely awesome!!! I had some tickets through work courtesy of Memorabilia (they hold Comic Con with us), so yesterday morning I went with the fam to see the first showing of the film! We even had a talk from Mr Danny Divito no less and it was a bloomin wonderful day! Free sweets, champagne and goldfish, what more could be needed on a Sunday morning?? We may have robbed some of the promo stuff so I now have a wonderful Lorax in my room!

I do have a picture of my outfit on the other camera, but I need to wait for a new USB to get it transferred over (GRR)! So I'll put that up in a couple of days.

Today I am off to get my LITAS!!!!! I'm soooo excited! Finally I may have a pair in my wardrobe, if I ever take them off my feet! There will be pictures later!

I've been gone for a little while due to a number of things, but been as I seem to have more time than ever now I'm gonna bombard you all with crap about life and clothes and stuff!

See you later x

Hello! Hope you are all well! Sorry I haven't been around for a while, been finishing off all my Uni stuff. Anyway, the blog is going to have a little bit of a face lift over the new few weeks and will be introducing an array of wonderful things to show you. So, I'm gonna leave it there and hopefully see you all very soon!

Skulls. Love them. Yes ok bit cliché but skulls are a must for any wardrobe. Found this on instagram I think, and I'm seriously considering making one!

I like to make my own t shirt designs from time to time, my dad runs a t shirt printing business so it's quite useful when I want to wear something different. The skull above is in working process, need something to go around it, I may even change it to a day of the dead style skull. Below is me at the Clothes Show back in December wearing one of my tees.

You can't beat a bit of skull jewellery either. I'd like to say that this was my collection, but sadly it's not. The beautiful pink one may become part of it soon though!

Can somebody please make me this cake? My skills don't quite stretch that far!

Off to do some lovely uni work now!

ONLY 10 WEEKS TO GO!! Then my time at university is over! I keep thinking to myself 'what on earth am I going to do when it's all done'... the answer is I haven't got a clue! My degree is in Events Management but once again NO idea what avenue I want to go down. My passion is fashion and cakes, and making both; I look around and see all these lovely lucky ladies that have got there blogs off the ground and I really feel that I could do something positive on the internet selling my handmade bits and bobs. So we shall see! I should probably complete my dissertation and other assignments first. YAWN!

I haven't told you stuff in a while so here goes..

1. On Sunday I went to the beautiful Victorian town of Ironbridge

Ironbridge is the home of this little beauty 'Queenie's Cupcakery'

This is my dream. Owning a place like this would just be a delight. I wouldn't wake up thinking eurgh work like most people, would be in heaven!

2. I had to buy a 'Wreck This Journal' after seeing my friends completed book. You can see Joan's here

"For anyone who's ever wished to, but had trouble starting, keeping, or finishing a journal or sketchbook comes Wreck This Journal, an illustrated book that features a subversive collection of prompts, asking readers to muster up their best mistake - and mess-making abilities to fill the pages of the book (and destroy them)"

CAN'T WAIT!!!!

3. I no longer have my pink hair! I needed to get back to normal really, ready for any job interviews that I may have after uni. My rebellious phase is over. I'm sure it shall return at some point!!

February has been a busy month for UK fashion, film and music! Lots of glorious red carpet dresses, so I will post a couple of my faves over the weekend!

Well, I have just been on Kate's Closet and found this tasty little idea.
Customised ankle boots

I don't particularly like the heel bit but the shoes look ace! The only problem is they look fab because they have done this..

I don't know if I can bring myself to cut my cowboy boots! Then again they look so ace that I really want to!
Decisions!!!!

Last night we ventured into Birmingham to see a friend do his first Comedy night! It was absolutely brilliant. Although we may be slghtly biased, he was so frickin funny! Hope he continues with it! Plus I got to wear my creepers and my new winter hat!

Finally we had some snow! I do love it! Leonard isn't old enough to venture outside just yet, so yesterday I went for a little family walk around the village. Took the camera with me to capture some of the snowy countryside but I pretty much only like this one

My outfit yesterday

That gorgeous little fur around my neck is my Fuud. Purchased that little beauty at the Clothes Show in December but you can get them here too! The show is slowly disappearing now, so I've decided that I'm going to raid the shops tomorrow. Need a little bit of retail therapy I reckon!

A little procrastination. Earlier I spotted these delightful photos taken of Kristen Stewart during her fashion shoot for Vanity Fair.

I think I am going to have a go at this gorgeous make up, although make up isn't one of my strong points! I love how she's just so chilled out all the time, mind you, she has bagged one of the hottest men on the planet.

Something extra...

I need these in my life!

Amazing jeans from Motel Rocks.

Sorry for the lack of posting this week! Last Tuesday I picked up my gorgeous new puppy, so I've been a little busy! Everybody, this is Leonard

He's a jack russell chihuahua cross and he is absolutely adorable!

Another thing occupying my time had been a few developments for the shop. My dad currently runs a printing business, t shirts and things, so I'm currently coming up with a range myself which will be available hopefully by May. I know that's a fair few months away but I need to get all my uni work out of the way first, and maybe starting my own business maybe the way forward at the mo.

A couple of blogs that I've been following recently include:

Lydia puts together some awesome outfits and her hair is to dye for!!

This girl is one of my massive inspirations! I love how she makes her outfits look so effortless and awesome!!

Just a little post for today, I'm off for puppy cuddles!

A couple of things for inspiration for the weekend ahead...(my head needs to get stuck in a few journals)

Is it summer yet?

Tuesday, 17 January 2012

I've been getting a few questions about how I did my hair. Firstly, it was created by one of my fabulous friends who I give all the credit.
The first step was to stick a box blonde dye on it. I was blonde in the first place but we wanted to give it an overall colour so we used 'Absolute Blonde'
Next, we used Directions dye, the little semi permanent pots, in 'Carnation Pink' mixed 50/50 with any regular conditioner. This keeps the kinda candy floss colour rather than becoming bright pink!
You can get it here if you can't find it in any shops.

Hope this helps!

Thursday, 12 January 2012

The last few days have been a little stressful with Uni and things, but news came today that I may not be doing as bad with my grades as I thought! Another plus is that my shoes came! My collection is growing at a stupidly fast rate but hey can a girl ever have too many shoes?

Found them on eBay from a punk shop in Gloucester for £60, they're a perfect fit too!!
I've teamed them with this...

Knitted jumper - came from a cute little market for like £3 or something stupid
Leather shorts - Wild Heart

I'm off to see a fella about an Olympic event in a short while, so I'm feeling pretty good this evening!

On another note, yesterday's live lounge featured Twin Atlantic and their cover of the hideous Jessie J. They should have released this, it's absolutely gorgeous! I have to mention his adorable Scottish twang.
